Why Choose Us

Creating a Dairy Products Self Reliant Uganda

The goal of the business is to make Uganda a milk-sufficient nation by activating the northern and eastern milk production corridors, creating employment opportunities for women and local farmers while promoting the growth of the dairy industry in Uganda.

Our Impact

The dairy sub-sector is a significant contributor to the Ugandan economy, with increasing demand for dairy products in the country due to urbanization and a growing middle class. However, milk production in Eastern and Northern Uganda is still low due to underdeveloped infrastructure. Dairy farming is important for rural households, especially for women and is a major source of income. Asante Dairy aims to establish a locally-based milk processing plant in Soroti to capture a significant share of the local dairy market and contribute to the growth of the local dairy industry in Northern and Eastern Uganda.
