Asante Dairy is a milk processing plant owned by Asante Agro Ltd. The plant is located in Soroti City, Eastern Uganda and has an initial installed production capacity of 60,000 liters of milk per day, with plans for expansion. The business aims to collect, process, and package fresh milk into various quality dairy products as it sources its raw milk from local farmers and cooperatives across northern and eastern Uganda, as well as its own nucleus farm of 20-25 dairy cows. The goal of the business is to make Uganda a milk-sufficient nation by activating the northern and eastern milk production corridors, creating employment opportunities for women and local farmers while promoting the growth of the dairy industry in Uganda.

Our advanced facility in Soroti Lale Eastern Uganda has a large production capacity. Spread across 12 Acres, the plant has a capacity of processing 64,000 litre milk per day. The UHT plant has 20,000 litres / day processing capacity.
Asante Dairy Ltd has put one more step forward by commissioning Green Fuel Boilers. This enables us to manufacture our products from ‘Green Steam’. The green fuel is made out of agricultural waste. Thus it is ‘Carbon Neutral’ fuel. The changeover from earlier used fossil fuel to green fuel will result in Carbon Dioxide pollution reduction by 82 tons of oil equivalent.
